North Sea Community Solar Program
As subcontractor to the North Sea Community Solar Customer Acquisition Partner, Peak Power built and executed the marketing plan designed to fill this project with Southampton Town residents.
- Promotions included banners, email blasts, social media, local press, onsite presentations and a parade float to generate interest and enthusiasm
- More than 700 households were enrolled. Enrollment assistance was provided to seniors, non-English speaking residents and any eligible resident seeking to enroll in the program.
- The solar array is estimated to be 6.4MW / DC and was fully subscribed in less than 2 months
NYSERDA Clean Energy Community (CEC) Grant Program
I. Electric Vehicle (EV) Community Campaign delivered Tiers 1 & 2
- EV 101 public education events scheduled at libraries andin community rooms
- EV showcase at Earth Day and SOFO's Dragon Fly Day event(s)
- On average ~70 EV's registered/month in Southampton

II. Community Solar Campaign delivered Tiers 1, 2, & 3
- Provided public education in advance of enrollment period to prepare residents for what was coming and address any concerns from residents that may create obstacles later
- Prioritized low-income households for education and enrollment. Delivered presentations and answered questions in an informal setting at senior centers, churches, and mobile home parks.
III. Clean Heating and Cooling Campaign delivered Tier 1
- Provided air and ground source Heat Pump public education including subsidies
- Designed a website with additional information concerning geothermal installation
